You can extract it, empty it and wash it should the case arise.WORD OF ADVICEAh, service info, ktm has changed the "cap flange" under cap in recent models, this flange presents the tank breather with a non-return valve integrated that allows you to close the one present on the cap for the first series, no need to change the cap at all.
